Katherine Jean Bolduan (also known professionally as Kate Bolduan) is an American broadcast journalist. Most famously, she is anchor of CNN's morning program At This Hour. She previously co-anchored CNN morning programs New Day, and The Situation Room. Bolduan contributed to CNN's coverage on both the 2012 and 2016 presidential elections. Bolduan has also reported from Washington DC, she has been covering for the US House as well as the US Senate. As a member of Capitol Hill Unit Capitol Hill Unit Bolduan reported about the legislative process and other congressional activities, including discussions to raise the federal debt limit and super committee deliberations. Bolduan was an assignment reporter for general assignments, covering such events as the Christmas Day 2009 bombing attempt as well as the Supreme Court's historic decision in the case of Obamacare. Also, she covered the introduction of stimulus plans for 2009. She joined CNN at the end of 2007 and was a correspondent for the national news for CNN Newsource. As a national correspondent she was responsible for breaking news coverage and feature news for over 800 CNN Newsource affiliates. In the past, she was a reporter at NBC News MSNBC & WTVD-TV.
