Lis Wiehl is an American journalist and legal analyst who was formerly the Fox News analyst.
She is currently an adjunct professor of law of law at New York Law School. In the past she was an associate professor at University of Washington Law School. She's provided legal commentaries for National Public Radio and Bill O'Reilly's Radio Factor. She was a regular guest on The O'Reilly Factor, Your World with Neil Cavuto, The Kelly File alongside Megyn Kelly and Lou Dobbs Tonight. the Imus morning programs, and hosts The Legal Lis radio show. Legal Lis radio show and the Wiehl of Justice podcast.
Wiehl was raised in Yakima, Washington, and graduated from West Valley High School in Yakima. She received her degree from Barnard College with a Bachelor's Degree from 1983. In 1985, she earned her master of Arts degree in Literature at the University of Queensland. And in 1987 she was awarded the Juris Doctorate at Harvard Law School.
Wiehl was previously a US Attorney. She was the legal correspondent for NPR All Things Considered. She was "the the deputy chief investigator for Democrats within the House Judiciary Committee at the time of Clinton's Impeachment." She was an associate professor of law with an appointment on the University of Washington School of Law Seattle between 1995 and 2001. Wiehl was employed as an analyst for Fox News legal analyst from 2001-2017.
