She was a sports reporter for some of the biggest media outlets across the country. It was a long time in the Washington Post. Nichols was awarded two Emmy Awards during her nine-year stint working for ESPN as well as being featured on some of its most watched programs like NFL Countdown or SportsCenter, changed to ESPN in the year 2004. Also, she was an anchor for Monday Night Football on the network. The next step was to CNN followed by Turner Sports. Unguarded The show - Rachel Nichols - was her first self-titled show, which aired each week at CNN International. More than a billion people watched the program across the world. Nichols reported on NBA television broadcasts for TNT as well as the regular season, playoffs and All-Star broadcasts. The reporter also reported on golf, baseball, and Final Four broadcasts for CBS and TBS. Over the course of 42 years of the award, this was the only time an individual woman was among the 200+ nominees.
